When the sun enters Aries at the spring equinox, nature receives a burst of energy. The first daring growth of the season pokes its tender shoots out from the still cold earth crust to greet the first warm rays of spring. Aries embodies new beginnings, the fresh new start to the season, its infinite potential and plenty of energy. Aries are often pioneers and leaders in their field, inspiring enthusiasm in others and daring to go where no-one has dared to go before. Yet, once he has been there and done that he easily gets bored and looks for new challenges. Aries high energy can become destructive and aggressive if it becomes blocked and frustrated and finds no useful outlet. Aries is a heroic sign and likes to champion a good cause. He is expert at rescuing maidens in distress, though if no maidens can be found to rescue he may succumb to distressing them himself. Aries is a dare-devil and likes to play with fire for sheer entertainment's sake. To make the best use of his boundless energy Aries needs direction and focus, otherwise his energy dissipates or may turn against him. Aries is often rash and impulsive and fails to consider the interests or feelings of others who might be affected by his actions. For all his buoyancy he can be easily hurt and may take some time to recover from an emotional blow. He may be short tempered, but his anger, once vented disperses like a puff of smoke. Aries is ruled by Mars and thrives on his energy. He can be courageous, brave and noble hearted, or big-headed, proud and egotistical. Venus may disarm him with love and render him ineffectual. The Sun makes Aries noble and charismatic.

But time does not stand still, and the personality changes as the soul journeys along its path of self-discovery and individuation. Astrology also maps these cycles of time which may trigger challenges, change and growth - the voyage of transformation. In astrological jargon they are called ‘transits’.
The Zodiac
No astrological sign is good, bad or worse than any other. Each has a different way of seeing or doing things, but each is equally valid than the next. Ultimately, we all carry each sign within our soul. Our individual ‘outlook’ depends on the planetary emphasis as outlined in the natal horoscope.
The sun sign reveals but little of our total personality and yet, it is the essence of selfhood, the creative spark within our souls, the archetype that integrates (or struggles) with all the other parts of the personality. The 'sun sign' simply denotes the sign of the zodiac the sun traversed at the time of birth. It is the solar imprint on the soul.

Star Child Astrological Space Aromas contain only pure essential oils and absolutes that reflect the energy of each sign and have been potentized with our unique magical herbal infusions. They can be used if the smoke of incense is not desirable or may be added to a base oil to create an astrological bath or massage oil.
CAUTION:
Never use Space Aromas internally.
Do not apply neat to the skin.
The recommended standard dilution is 1-3% for use in massage, bath or perfume oil blends.
Test on a small area of skin on the inner arm first before using any oil more liberally as a bath, massage or perfume oil.
Keep all oils out of the reach of children and pets.
Never allow Space Aromas to enter the eyes.
If you are pregnant or are suffering from any serious medical conditions we do not recommend you using any of our space aroma blends as massage, bath or perfume oils.
CARE FOR YOUR SPACE AROMAS
Space Aromas consist of carefully chosen essential oil blends. As such they behave just like essential oils: they will evaporate and ‘fly off’ if stored incorrectly. Always keep the lid on tightly and store in a cool, dark place.
