Magical Saturn
SATURN
Saturn is the second largest planet of the solar-system, most famous for its rings. Until the discovery of Uranus and the other outer planets Saturn represented the boundary of the known solar-system, for it is the last planet which can be seen with the naked eye. He was respected, yet feared for no-one could escape his rule over the cycles of time and the laws of karma. Saturn is the reaper- he kills the grain, but in doing so sustains life. Saturn is a God of boundaries and limitations and of the most physical, mundane aspects of life, which may not be 'fun' but provide the basic foundation for our existence.
Astrologically, Saturn represents responsibility, duty and conscience. It is the principle of growing-up, which demands an individual to face up to reality and take responsibility for the consequences of their actions. Each of us reaps as we sow. Saturn also signifies inhibitions and fears and may be experienced as ‘that which holds us back’.

Burning Time Approximately 25 Hours
USE:
Candles can be burnt to create a special ambience at any time, though their soft light is particularly conducive for romantic occasions. Candles are widely used for spiritual and magical work. Ritualistic candle burning aids concentration on a specific magical intent. As you focus on the flame visualize your intentions being consumed and transformed into ethereal thought forms. Energy follows thought. To turn your dreams, wishes and visualizations into realities, follow thought with action, charged with the cosmic energy of the sacred fire.
CAUTION:
To ensure best results and minimise any possible dangers, please take heed of the following precautions: Burn candles for one hour per inch of diameter to ensure even burning. The wax needs time to warm up and melt. Burning the candle for less than the recommended time will usually result in a hole burning down the middle of the candle and the wick will eventually drown. Keep the wick trimmed to about ¼ inch to reduce smokiness and dripping. Always burn candles on suitable surfaces, preferably fire-proof dishes or candleholders, which will also catch any dripping wax. Don't expose lit candles to draughts as this results in uneven burning an excessive drippiness. Keep candles out of sunlight to preserve their colours. Use your common sense when playing with fire. Keep candles out of reach of children and animals.
